Argentina legend Lionel Messi has retired from international football just two days after setting a record for hat-tricks across club and international football. He has now scored at least one hat-trick in every calendar year from 2009 to 2026. He achieved the feat while representing Inter Miami against CF Montreal in the MLS on Saturday, scoring four goals.
