The Delhi High Court has ordered SpiceJet to pay its engine lessors Team France and Sunbird France $1.58 million (over ₹13 crore) by May 22. On Wednesday, the airline was ordered to pay ₹50 crore to the lessors or risk grounding of its two engines. SpiceJet owes $10.84 million to the lessors and negotiations between the parties are currently ongoing.
