Domestic air traffic fell 6.34% in Aug, 2,132 complaints received: DGCA

Domestic air passenger traffic fell by 6.34% in August 2026 compared to the same month last year, a DGCA report said. It added that 2,132 passenger complaints were received in August, the highest being baggage-related issues at 29.5%, flight problems at 26.3% and refund complaints at 17.3%. SpiceJet recorded highest share of flights delayed by over 2 hours in August.
