US Army soldiers learning jungle warfare from Panamanian troops

The US Army has revived its Jungle Operations Training Course in Panama, where American troops are learning from local soldiers. Panamanian instructors are teaching US personnel to survive and operate in dense vegetation, where barely visible tripwires or disturbed vines can expose a squad's position. The course is drawing on Panamanian troops' experience to recreate encountered threats.
