Anthropic researcher Evan Hubinger claimed there's an over 10% chance that AI could kill all humans within next decade. "I think the risk from present models is low. What I'm worried about is superintelligence arising from recursive self-improvement," Hubinger said. He was responding to Jacob Coxon, who resigned saying Anthropic understands AI's civilisational stakes but is "locked in a race".
