How to use two health insurance policies for one hospital bill?

A second health insurance policy can be used to reimburse parts of a hospital bill not covered by the first policy but cannot be used to reimburse the same expense twice. The second insurer should receive evidence of amount approved by first insurer and the unpaid amount. An insurer-attested copy of the claim should be submitted to the second insurer.
