India-South Africa hold first Army-to-Army Staff Talks

India and South Africa conducted their inaugural Army-to-Army Staff Talks in New Delhi from September 16–18, 2026, focusing on defence cooperation, training exchanges, and capacity building. The South African delegation also visited Indian Army AI projects. The talks followed a PM Modi-Ramaphosa bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi.
