After the man who stabbed Saif Ali Khan was arrested, Mumbai Police said they suspect he is a Bangladeshi national. "The accused Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad doesn't have valid Indian documents...Some seizures indicate that he is a Bangladeshi national," DCP Dixit Gedam said. He added that Shehzad came to Mumbai five-six months ago and was using the name Vijay Das.
