The government has ordered cooking oil makers and importers to sell their products only in nine standard sizes ranging from 200 millilitres to 20 litres. Non-standard packs such as 850 ml, 875 ml and 900 ml will be phased out of the market within three months. The move will help consumers compare prices across brands more easily, the government said.
