Karnataka bans selfies, reels during college tours; caps travel at 5 days

The Karnataka government has barred students of government first-grade colleges from taking selfies or shooting reels during educational tours, citing safety concerns. The Department of Collegiate Education has also capped tours, including travel, at five days. Colleges must obtain prior approval, secure parental consent and student undertakings, and ensure safety arrangements for trips.
