The Abraham Accords are a set of US-brokered agreements which aim to establish diplomatic relations between Israel and its neighbours with a vision of "peace, security, and prosperity in the Middle East". They were signed in September 2020, during US President Donald Trump's first administration. UAE and Bahrain became the first among Arab countries to join and formally recognise Israel.
