Connaught Place shops shut amid CJP protest, traders to lose ₹2,000 crore

Delhi's Connaught Place market will be shut on Saturday amid the CJP protest in Jantar Mantar against CEC Gyanesh Kumar. New Delhi Traders Association said the decision was taken out of concern for public safety and potential damage to property. Chairperson of Chamber of Trade and Industry, Brijesh Goyal said traders will lose around ₹2,000 crore due to the closure.
