Women from local villages in J&K are receiving gun and combat training to fight terrorists by J&K Police. They are being trained as VDG (Village Defence Guards). "We are training females who are as concerned for security and sovereignty of country as their male counterparts," said SP Vinod Sharma, adding, "We've got best results so far from these brave women."
