South Sudan is viewed as the world's most corrupt country, according to the 2025 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) released on Tuesday. Somalia, Venezuela, Yemen, Libya, Eritrea, Sudan, Nicaragua, Syria, North Korea and Equatorial Guinea were also among the most corrupt countries, ranking between 181 to 172. India secured the 91st spot on the index, while Pakistan got 136th spot.
