An IAS officer currently serving as Additional Secretary in Odisha State Home Department has been accused of cheating a man of ₹95 lakh. Aradhana Das allegedly cheated the differently-abled person by taking money on pretext of providing land. She allegedly failed to deliver land, spent the money, and didn't return it. Das is accused of issuing abusive threats to complainant.
