Why is Lebanon becoming a deal-breaker in fragile US-Iran ceasefire?

After denying that Lebanon was part of US-Iran ceasefire deal, Israel launched massive attack on Lebanon, jeopardising the ceasefire. Israel, which has been at intermittent war with Lebanon for five decades, occupied southern Lebanon in 1982. The 18-year occupation led to birth of Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militant group, to push Israel out. Israel considers Hezbollah as an "existential threat".
