BMC launches QR-coded collars for vaccinated and sterilised stray dogs

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has launched QR-coded reflective collars for vaccinated and sterilised stray dogs to improve identification and registration across Mumbai. The initiative aims to strengthen monitoring of stray dogs and support Mumbai's goal of becoming rabies-free by 2030. Until now, vaccinated dogs were identified using coloured ink and other temporary markings.
