The Karnataka State Cricket Association received final approval from the state government to host IPL matches at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The clearance came after a meeting involving KSCA officials, state Home Minister and an expert panel that reviewed safety upgrades. The venue hasn't been used since a stampede during RCB's IPL trophy celebrations claimed 11 lives outside the stadium.
