Mango production this season dropped by 70-90%, and supply has been limited to 10-20%, the Print reported, citing government estimates. "Almost 95% of the first flowering got destroyed," a mango producer in Maharashtra said, citing extended monsoons and accelerated pollination. Producers in UP are also facing similar adversities, with one saying, "A night of rainstorm…and it's all over."
