Govt not to cap airfares for festive season

Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said that the government won't cap airfares during the festive season. This comes as several people shared online that ticket prices have surged significantly ahead of Diwali. "We definitely point it to them [airlines] that during this festive season, you've to ensure that the fare prices are kept at a reasonable level," he added.
