ITC on Thursday signed definitive agreements for the acquisition of Prasuma, a leading player in frozen, chilled and ready-to-cook foods like momos and baos. ITC will acquire a 100% stake in Prasuma over 3 years. The first tranche of a 43.8% stake will be acquired upfront by ITC and the balance stake will be acquired in tranches by June 2028.
