The data of over 3.1 crore Star Health Insurance customers has been leaked and is available via chatbots on Telegram, Reuters reported citing a security researcher who was contacted by the chatbot's purported creator. The data includes names, phone numbers, addresses, tax details, ID card copies, test results and medical diagnoses. The company said assessment showed "no widespread compromise".
