Bihar recorded higher voter turnout than US & UK after SIR: CEC

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar on Sunday said Bihar recorded the country's most successful Special Intensive Revision (SIR), which helped increase the voter turnout during assembly elections. He added that following the SIR, Bihar's voter turnout in the elections was higher than that in US, UK, and France. Voter turnout was highest in the state since Independence, Kumar said.
