Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray betrayed BJP in 2019 and became Chief Minister through lies and deceit. "Uddhav left....thoughts of Balasaheb Thackeray in 2019. [Mahayuti's] victory in Maharashtra Assembly elections has shown him his place," Shah added. "People of Maharashtra showed that Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena is Balasaheb's Shiv Sena," he stated.
