Days after US' donor agency, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), decided to halt funding to Bangladesh, Switzerland also announced the termination of development aid programmes there. Switzerland also decided to end aid for Albania and Zambia, however, Ukraine will remain unaffected by the cut. Switzerland's developmental programmes in Bangladesh will culminate by 2028-end.
