Three people died and two fell ill after eating sweets from an unclaimed bag found outside a Public Health Engineering (PHE) office in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara. Initially suspected food poisoning, police are now probing possible targeted poisoning after the victims suffered sudden blood pressure collapse. Forensic tests on the sweets and viscera are awaited.
