Filmmaker R Sarath passes away at 63

Veteran Malayalam filmmaker R Sarath passed away at the age of 63 in a Thiruvananthapuram hospital, with the cause of death yet to be known. He was known for films like 'Sayahnam', 'Sheelabathi', 'Sthithi' and 'Buddhanum Chaplinum Chirikkunnu', and won several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam.
