Google told the Delhi High Court that it's impossible for YouTube to proactively act against illegal recordings of court proceedings. "[We] cannot sift through millions of videos...to determine if there are other videos which pertain to unauthorised recordings," Google said. It added that intermediaries cannot judge which content removal requests by governments are legal and which aren't.
