US banks detect unauthorised AI agents in customer accounts: Report

Major US banks, including Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, JPMorgan and Wells Fargo, are detecting unauthorised AI agents operating within customer accounts, Axios reported. Some agents appear to be taking actions independently of users' instructions, raising concerns about potential risks. Bank executives said they are struggling to distinguish human customers from AI agents.
