Eating more meat may lower Alzheimer’s risk for some people: Study

Scientists at Karolinska Institutet found that older adults carrying Alzheimer's-linked genes may not face the expected increase in cognitive decline if they eat relatively large amounts of meat. The research involved more than 2,100 adults who were free of such disease at the beginning. Notably, individuals who consumed lower amounts of meat had more than twice the risk of disease.
