Nearly three years after gold jewellery worth ₹40 lakh was stolen from a Mumbai local train, the railway police recovered the valuables and returned them to the owner following a court order. Police arrested a 62-year-old Ambernath resident and recovered 272 grams of stolen gold. The jewellery was handed over after all legal formalities were completed successfully.
