8th POCSO case filed against businessman Veeramani; 12 minor victims identified

Businessman R Veeramani has been booked in an eighth POCSO case in Tamil Nadu following a complaint by another minor girl alleging sexual abuse. The number of minor girls whose complaints have prompted police action has risen to 12, while eight people have been arrested in the ongoing investigation so far. Veeramani was arrested on August 29.
