Chinese EV maker BYD is eyeing Silverstone-based Aston Martin or Enstone-based Alpine as potential entry points into F1 via acquisition, reports said. It was earlier reported that BYD was also considering building its own team and joining as the 12th team. Notably, FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem has already spoken positively about the addition of a Chinese team.
