New York Times executive killed by wife's parents over transgender identity

Jonathan McKinsey, a senior New York Times executive, has been shot dead by his estranged wife's parents over transgender identity. McKinsey's mother-in-law once called him and his son "disgusting queer", "pervert" and "monster" over the child's clothing, reported NYT. His father-in-law allegedly punched him in the chest while he was recovering from double mastectomy surgery in 2010, it added.
