Devdutt Padikkal is God-sent for India against spinners: Manjrekar

Former India batter Sanjay Manjrekar praised India batter Devdutt Padikkal, who scored his maiden Test hundred on the opening day of the first Test against Sri Lanka. "Devdutt Padikkal [is] God-sent for India against spinners. Excellent technique, both in defence and attack," he stated. Padikkal was batting on 131(178) at stumps on Day 1.
