US' 2nd-largest reservoir hits record-low water levels

NASA took to X to share satellite images showing how Lake Powell, the second-largest reservoir in the United States, has dropped to record-low water levels. The images show Colorado's Lake Powell in 2017, when water levels were high, and in 2026, when a snow drought and unusually warm temperatures drove water levels to record lows.
