Meta is introducing teen accounts on Instagram with built-in protections and parental supervision feature to allow parents to control and monitor their child's activity. Under the new measures, accounts of all teenagers will be made private by default. Teenagers will be reminded to take breaks from the app, and sleep mode will be enabled to mute notifications between 10PM-7 AM.
