Defence Acquisition Council has approved ₹52,000-crore defence acquisition proposals. The Army will get Akash Tarang UAV electronic warfare system, man portable anti-tank guided missile (MPATGM) systems, and jet-based Kamikaze drone systems, among others. Indian Navy will get naval shipborne unmanned aerial system, among others. IAF will get a fixed-wing high-altitude pseudo satellite.
