A Reuters/Ipsos poll found that around 65% of Americans believe President Donald Trump will order ground troops into Iran, and ‌just 7% support that idea. Reuters had reported that Trump was considering deploying US troops to reinforce its operation in the Middle ⁠East. On being asked about troop deployment, Trump had said, "If I were, I certainly wouldn't tell you."
