The MCD demolished several illegal structures adjoining the Faiz-e-Ilahi Mosque at Turkman Gate in Delhi. A community hall, a diagnostics centre, a room where Haj pilgrims stayed, portions of a road, a footpath, and a car park were demolished, according to Hindustan Times. Thirty-two bulldozers were deployed after a brief bout of stone pelting and clashes between authorities and demonstrators.
