India, Japan to play historic T20I match on September 22

India will face Japan in the first-ever international cricket match between the two nations on September 22, BCCI and JCA announced. The Suzuki Cup T20I will be played between the men's teams at Sano International Cricket Ground in Tochigi. It will mark launch of Sport 75, a sports-exchange initiative ahead of 75th anniversary of India-Japan diplomatic relations in 2027.
