RBI intervenes to support rupee amid Middle East tensions: Report
The Reserve Bank of India likely intervened in the foreign exchange market on Monday to support the rupee amid uncertainty over the Middle East conflict, traders told Reuters. The rupee traded in a narrow range at 95.22 per dollar, compared with 95.20 previously. Traders said the RBI has intervened frequently recently to support its recovery from near-record lows.
