US immigration curbs not aimed at India: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington’s stricter visa and immigration rules were not aimed at Indian professionals, students or technology companies. “We're trying to fix 20 years of neglect of an immigration system that wasn't being enforced, and that’s not targeted at India,” he said. Rubio alleged that 20 million people entered US unlawfully during Joe Biden’s presidency.
