A man in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad killed a one-year-old boy by repeatedly smashing him to the ground, a CCTV footage of which surfaced online. Police said the accused, Jitendra Pathak, was in love with the child's mother and considered him an obstacle to their relationship and marriage. Pathak was shot in both his legs in police encounter before being arrested.
