Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya revealed on Tuesday that the Female Labour Force Participation Rate in India rose to 40% in 2025, from 23.3% in 2017-18. He added that the Female Worker Population Ratio increased from 22% to nearly 39% during the same period. Mandaviya further said that the Female Unemployment Rate declined to 3.1%.
