Singer Asha Bhosle shared why she and her sister, late veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar, often donned white sarees. Speaking on the podcast 'Couple of Things', she said, "White saree looks good on our colour, aur colour pehne ge toh aur kale dikhege (If we wore other colours, we would look darker)." Asha added she later started wearing pink sarees.
