The Calcutta HC directed TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee to submit a voice sample on July 15, in a case linked to alleged intimidatory remarks. The court also expressed displeasure over Banerjee delaying the sample and said that protection from arrest granted to him was based on his cooperation. The CID is investigating remarks Banerjee allegedly made before the Assembly elections.
