French police accused of blinding student protesters, shattering jaws during crackdown

France’s internal police watchdog is investigating alleged police brutality during student protests, including case involving 14-year-old who suffered broken jaw & shattered teeth. Over 28 cases of injuries allegedly caused by police have reportedly been documented, including one in which 15-year-old lost his hand, likely due to stun grenade. In two cases, people lost eye or suffered eye injuries.
