At least 66 people were killed, and dozens were injured after a military plane carrying over 100 people crashed shortly after takeoff in Colombia. The Lockheed Martin-built Hercules C-130 transport plane was taking off from Puerto Leguizamo, on the border with Peru. The plane ​was believed to have suffered impact near end of the runway as it was taking off.
