Income tax dept raids offices of Namit Malhotra, who invested ₹4,000-crore in 'Ramayana'

Income Tax Department conducted raids at 'Ramayana' producer Namit Malhotra's offices on Wednesday morning, reported CNBC-TV18. The searches at Namit's VFX and post-production company Prime Focus and his CA were linked to evidence allegedly found during the searches carried out at the premises of film personalities last week. Notably, Namit has invested ₹4,000 crore in Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana'.
